By purchasing lessons, courses, or digital products from Claire Guittard t/a French in the Midlands, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

  1. Services
    We provide French lessons (individual and group), online courses, and digital products such as ebooks and PDFs.
  2. Payments
    All fees must be paid in advance through the website or the agreed payment method.
    Prices may be updated from time to time, but confirmed bookings remain at the price paid.
  3. Lessons (Live Sessions)
    Cancellations/rescheduling with more than 24 hours’ notice – no charge.
    Cancellations/rescheduling within 24 hours – the full lesson fee is payable.
    No-shows – the full lesson fee is payable.
    Lessons can be rescheduled by yourself through the booking calendar (via the Zoom confirmation link).
  4. Courses and Digital Products
    Access is personal and non-transferable.
    Due to the digital nature of the product, all sales are final.
    In exceptional cases (for example, if you cannot access the material due to a genuine technical issue), refunds or replacements may be granted at our discretion.
  5. Intellectual Property
    All lesson materials, ebooks, and course content remain the intellectual property of Claire Guittard t/a French in the Midlands. They may not be copied, shared, resold, or distributed without permission.
  6. Technology & Access
    Online lessons are normally delivered via Zoom.
    You are responsible for having a stable internet connection, camera, and microphone.
    We are not responsible for technical issues on your side.
  7. Liability
    While we provide educational services, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes such as exam results, fluency, or communication success in real-life situations.
    To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.
  8. Governing Law
    These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in the United Kingdom.
  9. Changes to Terms
    We may update these Terms at any time. The most recent version will always be available on this website.
